Be careful checking Google and Twitter (in fact everyware) looking for an invite to Google Wave.

No1 in Google UK for the moment for Google Wave Invite is a nasty page of sorts (a compromised site perhaps) and I’m seeing plenty of stuff happening on Twitter too – wonder if Matt Cutts and co are aware of all this… it was bound to happen of course and real time search results makes the SERPS an even more dangerous place.

So be careful looking for those invites (and don’t believe anyone who asks for your details in return for a Google Wave invite. We’ll all get one soon enough I’d imagine….
