What is an AGaaS company?

AGaaS company stands for Agentic as a Service company (also called Agent-as-a-Service company).

Official / Coined Definition (from Jensen Huang, NVIDIA CEO at GTC 2026):

“Every single SaaS company will become an AgaaS company — an agentic as a service company.”AGaaS is the full form: (mirroring the SaaS naming pattern: Software as a Service → Agentic/Agent as a Service).

Simple Explanation: An AGaaS company delivers autonomous AI agents as a service, rather than traditional software tools.

SaaS (what we have today): You subscribe to software/apps. You (a human) log in and do the work using the tool.
AGaaS (the next evolution): You subscribe to AI agents that do the work for you autonomously – they plan, reason, use tools, execute multi-step tasks, and deliver outcomes.

Key Characteristics of an AGaaS Company:

Autonomy: Agents act independently (with minimal human oversight).
Outcome-focused: You pay for results/tasks completed, not just seats or features.
Agentic AI: Agents can handle complex workflows (e.g., full sales processes, customer support, data analysis) across systems.
Enabled by open stacks: Huang highlighted technologies like OpenClaw (compared to Linux/Kubernetes), making this scalable.

In short, AGaaS shifts software from being a tool humans use to intelligence that works on your behalf.

This is NVIDIA’s vision for the enterprise AI era, and I think so too.
