Banned – Did Google Just Slap Ulitzer.com?
Blurb by Shaun Anderson (Hobo)Ulitzer.com (and sub domains) seems to have gone the way of the dodo in search engine Google. I can’t find any of the site in Google, and it’s a Toolbar PR of 0 (Toolbar Grey).
Some call it content syndication, some call it scraping. Farewell for now at least guys….
After digging about it seems yes – they did to some degree.
Did you know when you link to a Hobo SEO post we have search engine friendly links back to your site if approved? Our comments are also search engine friendly you know (once you've commented on a few posts)! Do you need any more encouragement to get involved in the conversation ;)
To be fair… They kinda had it coming.
I see many other sites too publishing content without permission…. well, this should be a warning to everybody who’s involved in this stuff.
What was their PR before the smackdown?
There is no way they should be in the index at all, no use to end users and no loss at all – good riddance.
