Hobo Socialbot in Google Sheets is powered by Google Apps Script, the engine behind Google Workspace. We’ve written the code so you don’t have to.

  1. Plan in the ‘Vault’: You’ll have a dedicated “Vault” tab in your Google spreadsheet. Here, you write your post descriptions, add links, and even provide a Google Drive URL for your images.
  2. Pick Your Platforms: Check a box for X, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Bluesky to choose where each specific post should go.
  3. Schedule: Set a post status to “SCHEDULED”. The robotbot will find it and post it at the next available opportunity. You can tell when to sleep (holidays and weekends).
  4. Automate: A simple menu command activates the automated scheduler, which checks for new posts every 15 minutes. Set it once and forget it. The script even automatically updates the sheet with a “POSTED” status and a direct link to your live post.
  5. Threaded Posts: Choose whether to automatically thread posts or not. Link to posts within the network itself to keep users on your pages.
