
The “Marketing Cyborg Technique,” which I coined in my 2025 ebook Strategic AI SEO, is at its core simply about using AI as a tool. It doesn’t need to be more complicated than that – though it can be as complicated as you need it to be.
AI is a tool you can shape to make better tools for specific tasks. Download an AI agent – any AI chatbot like Gemini Chatgpt or Grok – and start using it. Use it a lot and it becomes second nature.
Eventually, AI should be doing most of the grunt work while you scale your productivity by 10X–100X. More likely, you will land somewhere in between, and the more you refine your individual techniques, the more effective you will be.
I’ve used this technique to research, write, and refine over 50 deep-research blog posts, research leaks, code tools, plan social media campaigns (so effective I had to turn them off) and edit four SEO books in 2025 alone – a task I would not have even attempted before AI. It was essentially a big meta-test of the new tool and “canvas,” so to speak.
I also used the technique to completely overhaul almost the entire site. It was a job completed in three months (including original ongoing research) that might have taken an entire agency years to do only 3 or 4 years ago.
You start off with an original idea – an original synthesis or concept – and then explode it out with AI deep research. Sure, AI is prone to injection and manipulation (isn’t that why we are doing it?), but I do find Gemini Pro 2.5 to be my favourite model so far for this type of research.
I think you can make art with it.
Every AI hallucinates, of course, and it’s the human’s job to catch those errors (they are not going away for a while yet). The penalty for inaccuracy in the future will be demotion or invisibility.
If a prompt doesn’t replace you, a Marketing Cyborg will – it is fairly guaranteed. You have one more year max, I would think, before the practice is commonplace.

P.S. Watch out for AI psychosis. It is mentally very challenging 3 years in (although your output is magnified exponentially).

- Expert Edits: A human expert rigorously reviews, refines, fact-checks, and adds strategic insight to the content.
- Publish: Only after expert human approval and refinement is the content published.

- Content Generation: AI can draft content at scale, but human editors ensure it is accurate, on-brand, and valuable, turning raw information into high-quality case studies or articles.
- Data Analysis and Targeting: AI-powered analytics can process vast amounts of data in real time, allowing marketers to target specific audiences and adapt campaigns (like seasonal or localized advertising) with greater precision than a human alone could achieve.
- Efficiency: By automating time-consuming tasks like data gathering or initial drafts, the technique significantly increases productivity.
- Ensuring Accuracy: Marketers build a “ground-truth record” (a verifiable database of facts) on their own website to proactively influence how AI systems accurately represent their brand, reducing “hallucinations” or misinformation.
