Commercial Photography in Glasgow & Greenock, Paisley – Michael Laverty
Blurb by Shaun Anderson (Hobo)
I was so impressed with local Port Glasgow commercial photographer Michael Laverty (0794 386 5557) (fresh out of Reid Kerr College) with the work he completed for us as part of his HND course at Reid Kerr, that we created a quick site for him to promote his new photography business.
I also thought I’d do a quick post for him on the blog in case any readers had the need of a professional photographer in the Greenock, Paisley and Glasgow area (he’s actually based in Port Glasgow but he’s hoping to pick up clients throughout Scotland and the UK).
As part of his commercial photography course, he had to secure a work placement at a professional company :p and accomplish various creative photography tasks. I have always had a passion for getting students to do free work for me helping talented students in the local area get a start in their career, knowing myself how hard it is so he came to us with an idea to do our corporate photography for our new brochure we’re developing (which has turned out brilliant and tongue in cheek).
Shortly, we’re going to help him out, and show him how he needs to promote his new business online but if you need a very hard working professional commercial photographer who can even make my motley crue look good then give him a call.
Note – He’s becoming quite the specialist in commercial and corporate photography, but is working with individuals too (wedding photography and portrait) for instance and I asked him if he’s willing to travel to win work and the answer was yes.
I’ve got him doing ALL my photography as of shortly after we met (including the uncredited staff photography on this site) – so if that’s not a recommendation I don’t know what is.
