WK 4 Final Results – Marty is the Champ

Into the final week of the HoboWeb XBox Friday league and it comes to a fantastic end (not the end of course – we now run a continous league).

After last weeks standings, France (Allan) was still in with a 2nd place finish. But he crashed out this week with a 0-0 draw against Holland (Rodger). Leaving him in 3rd overall. Germany (Jim), however, saved the day. With a 1-0 win the over Michael’s Spanish team, holding him back from any more points.

The Spanish team (Michael) played Argentina, and stomped all over the Argentinian side with a 2-1 win leaving Shaun’s team 4th, (sorry I just have to laugh.. hahahahah). Michael’s win and goal difference,  brings him up to a nice 2nd position. With equal points and only 4 goals separating him and myself at the top of the table, I still had to play Shaun, to take the ultimate title.

The Final was already won with Me as the winner, with one game to play, this was to prove that yea Shaun just cant get it in… No matter if I had no goal keeper in place, the ball would fly up and over the bar, to given me an even better confidence boost. After the first goal by myself and 1st half, the stats said it all ; 1-0 the 2nd half to be quite the same for Shaun, as he tried in vain to find the back of the net, for one of his famous goal celebration rants. But IT wasn’t to be today…..,

  6. Best Impression Of A Young Girl Crying – Shaun (As Above)
  7. Most Cynical Fouling -Shaun using his last player to take me out just outside the box.

Looking at the table above you can clearly see who the players and losers were, with all that hype created over the last few weeks of who’s going to win, it is now all settled..

The Draw for the Next league was taken today also. Because the company is growing so much, we had to add on all the new starts. The table below will outline some new teams and some from our previous league. All the teams were added to a piece of paper and put into a small bag. Then, each member of staff picked out there own bit of paper with that team on it. Which are listed below, in no particular order…

An Interesting few weeks ahead.. But ill give my predictions. Now!
