Twitter is the new way to quickly connect and network with likeminded people, and I’m on it along with millions of other users as Hobo Web.

Twitter is a great tool for communicating with folk – I use it as my primary networking tool. I use it to discuss and comment on SEO, ask questions, and contact people I can use lol. I am of course, available to be used in return. Every now and again I will use it to promote the content on the Hobo site.

So if you’re looking to connect, feel free to follow me. Every week or so I look over my followers and follow back generally those in my industry, bloggers and writers/journalists, and those I find interesting or knowledgeable. You see the number of twitter followers I have on the little blue button on the right hand side of the Hobo seo blog.

If you’re new to Twitter, you may find Twitter a waste of time (even moronic!). And it can be that too. If you persevere with it, you’ll find it a very useful tool for connecting with folk who can help your business. That can only be a good thing.

Be careful – don’t turn into a Twitter Moron (although the more you use it, the harder that is to avoid).

We've recently updated our comments policy and increased the number of comments a visitor has to make to get seo friendly links in comment signatures to reward long term readers and make it a bit harder for dofollow spammers ;) - I told you dofollow spamming wasn't a long term strategy....
