Jack Osborne (BA Hons – Glasgow Caledonian University) was a web designer and developer with Hobo from 2009-2011, who specialised in modern designs, clean front-end mark-up and web standards based website design.
Graduating in Multimedia Technology from Glasgow Caledonian University, Jack secured his first full-time employment position within the ranks of Hobo, where he could be found dealing mostly in css, web semantics and microformats.
For a number of years, mainly throughout his academic career, Jack freelanced for various local clients and online connections to hone his skill set. The work tackled ranged from building sites for lottery funding groups to personal portfolios.
You can connect with jack these days at jackosborne.co.uk where he spends his time writing articles predominantly on web mark-up and various pieces of technology. His opinions on web mark-up normally focus on taking a simplistic approach to web design and also writing about standard-based mark-up and style techniques that he has studied over the years.
Jack is a very talented css designer, and was great fun to have in the Hobo office, and we’re sorry to see him move on to accomplish his goals, but wish him the best of luck in his new role. :)
