I have wondered how long it takes for Google autocomplete to compile it’s search recommendations for users. A search for ‘what time is the royal wedding’ shows a bit of light on this. SAME DAY.

That’s a LOT faster than I expected – and it highlights just how powerful a keyword research tool Google Autocomplete is – it actually tells you what a lot of folk are searching for that day.
Note: Of course, Google might be putting it’s best foot forward with this search. I wonder if it is the same across all searches, or a sign of what to come?
If you are wanting to know what time the royal wedding starts, Google is also helping you out today too:

Royal Wedding time is 29 April 2011 at 11aM GMT
Happy Holidays!

Yeah, this is certainly a part of Suggest they’ve improved. I ran tests in 2009 and it took in excess of 8 weeks for the suggestions to update, even for trending queries. Last year they sped this up, a lot! Nice title btw; 12th on Google UK for me :)
I Think I was a bit optimistic with the title, mate :)
