What Is Valid HTML To Web Accessibility?

HTML is the ‘language’ that designers use to build websites. Valid HTML is code that validates to W3C guidelines, the organisation that develops good practices and standards for HTML.

Testing how your page looks in Internet Explorer is not sufficient.

Ensuring accessibility and usability without compromising creativity is also an effort. It’s best to plan and budget for accessibility from the outset.”

UK Government recommendations:

‘Use HTML as the default information format Browser-specific HTML or scripting methods should not be used in the website. The HTML page should validate against specified version of HTML’
