Yup, since January 01 2008 the Hobo site has been visited by no less than 100,000 unique visitors, from all over the world. For a small business that’s no mean feat considering we have never spent one penny in traditional advertising. We’ve not bought one link, even from Yahoo (although I might one day).
All we have used is our blog, some hard work, some late nights and a bit of online networking…. all with a view of course to give Google what it wants.
We don’t have a sales team, and we get a couple of good leads a day out of that traffic. We don’t cold call, and to date, since 2006 we’ve never asked for work.
Blogging’s fun and profitable. You should try it.
