Website Designer & Developer, Hobo
Jack Osborne (BA Hons – Glasgow Caledonian University) is a web designer living in Greenock, Scotland who specialises in clean front-end mark-up and minimal CSS web design.
Having recently graduated after in studying Multimedia Technology, Jack secured his first fulltime employment position within the ranks of Hobo-Web where he can be found dealing mostly in web semantics and microformats.
For a number of years, mainly throughout his academic career Jack freelanced for various local clients and online connections to hone his skill set. The work tackled ranged from building sites for lottery funding groups to personal portfolios.
Jack also runs his own weblog jackosborne.co.uk where he spends his time writing articles predominantly on web mark-up and various pieces of technology. His opinions on web mark-up normally focus on taking a simplistic approach to web design and also writing about standard-based mark-up and style techniques that he has studied over the years.
Upon entering his new job at Hobo-Web Jack has decided to continue building on his experience by moving into content management systems and appreciating how developers can work around them and maximise the potential of website.
When not in front of the computer Jack likes to spend his time listening to music and enjoying anything revolving around food, watching and eating.
