Well I’m seeing some sort of Google Toolbar Pagerank update on some pages if you are interested :)
Some new sites have PR. Some have stabilised. Some the same PR. Internal Pages with new PR….
Now that that’s done my advice would be to forget about it – it’s not a metric I use on any of my sites…. ranking and traffic are much more important!

snifff, I have a great website with dialy updates, and white seo, but I have down 1 point in PR, in mostly internal pages,,, I hope this is an temporaly error.

Not only I don’t have fresh pagerank, I lost my old one now it seems that the page is not ranked by google… PR in progress I think…
I was knowing that Google toolbar page rank updation is going to take place at the end of October 2009. On 30th Morning it all happened. Yaap!!! My website did not get any page rank (PR), but I see number of websites page rank increased, few decreased, some remains constant.
Not that I should care, but yeah I am seeing improvements over a few sites. No drops either, which is good I guess. I feel a little shameful going through my sites and checking them! haha
Yes i saw today mornign google page rank update, one of my friend not happy with page rank update, his website page rank decreased.
I am also seeing some good changes in the Green bar, but my other projects are still displaying n/a.
I too have improvements.. I got PR 5 update for 1 of my blogs…It was earlier 4 and I hope it’s difficult when reaching higher PR

There’s definitely been an update. My new site has just gone from NA to 3. And three other sites belonging to me have simultaneously been ranked higher than before. All this just happened overnight now. Thank you Google!
Well I’m not really interested to be honest…I have seen many PR0 pages ranking, grey bar pages ranking, no correlation of toolbar PR and ranking, etc. I think that PR values are being removed from Webmaster Tools accounts as well…as other signals of quality become much more important.

Confirmed. I have 2 new sites less than 2 months old and just starting to do the “SEO” thing and they both had NOTHING yesterday on the toolbar and now they have gone through the roof at 1/10 – not bad since I have done very very little yet. Regards Matthew
It is always great to have some sort of score or benchmark but all I really care about is the traffic. for every time I look at my Page Rank I will have looked through AWSTATS 10,000,000 times :) Matthew
Confirmed here too. We went from a 0/10 to a 4/10. Quite pleased :)
I too confirm the update. Just checked today morning. Some of my sites show PR raised, some same and only one site changed from 2-1 :(
Although page rank stayed the same on home page, pleased that our categories are now ranking at 2/10. Our blog has also now received a rank of 1/10. PageRank is just a bit of a boost for morale if nothing else!
yes you are right… this is good news and bad news that comes at the same time :)
It’s a guilty pleasure! Anyone who has been doing SEO for more than a few years still secretly view PR as a good thing. If anything, it is nice to get a nod of approval from G every now and again.
Yes, it seem all the work I put in on my new site has paid off. I’ve been hit with PR3 from 0. Yes I’m aware that it was never 0 as the toolbar just hadn’t updated but I only expected it to show 1 or max 2. Very happy. Some of my internal pages have a PR2 as well. Nic
I wondered when this was going to happen, no major changes for any of my sites, a few new sites have PR 0 but nothing for my own site. Interstingly my own second site which is about 8 weeks old, went from grey to PR1 about 3 weeks ago.
My 3 months blog got 2 :)

After 3 horribly sad months of NO pagerank with a brand new website and domain, in the deepest, darkest sandbox I read your post with hope, fired up my seoquake and checked……… PR 3!!!!!!!!!! bless you hobos for being the bearer of good news, the god of google has had mercy upon us. now if only i could get those dmoz guys onto the bandwagon…

BTW @steve if your site makes money off Advertising, then Advertisers are much more likely to contact you if you have a high PR. To me PR is more of a visible Trust Factor that Google issues out to sites.

yeah…its going onn…and about to complete – i got positive pr status for my all sites
We dropped a point. A little dissapointed. We do everything above board, and have been working very hard all year.
I had two sites pr4 and pr3 drop to zero, and an additional five sites (2x pr4, 2x pr3 & 1x pr2) drop to a fake pr2 on all of them. This wiped out over two years worth of work overnight. I now own pr nothing.
Forget about PR if your traffic and rankings are unnaffected (which they 99% probably will be) – honestly. Forget PR and just make money with your site! ;)
