It’s amazing how fast Google indexes and ranks pages. I’ve seen pages get into Google and rank in the top ten for a phrase in less than 1 minute and I recently tested just how fast Google publishes your content if you’re well connected.
If you have WordPress installed (or any site with a RSS feed), you should automatically ping Google at:
- http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2
(log in to your admin panel and go to SETTINGS > Writing > Update Services and add this url to the list.
…the end result is you get pages into Google fast – sometimes, within seconds!
well, i select Publicize, but I dont know where to find “Ping Services”… I only see PingShot, is that it? Sorry, but I’m kinda new in this

Post usually appear in less than 20 mins. Only signed up to feedburner recently & haven’t posted yet……Must activate PingShot. I’ll keep you posted if I see ant improvement.
